MB-240 is an advanced photo-thermal two-wire conventional detector designed for the MB series of conventional fire alarm system. Like the MB 220 smoke detector, it quickly detects fast, clean burning and smoldering fires while its heat sensors provide an additional layer of protection as the include a alarm threshold which improves the rejection of many factors that cause common false alarms with an additional alarm raised when temperature reaches 60°C or more.
