MA-FSCS

MTech’s Addressable Fire Smoke Control System MA-FSCS monitors and controls fire events in a building. The system is commonly used in high-rises, and is designed for firefighters and building maintenance engineers and presents crucial information on the situation of the building during an event. It is also used as part of standard maintenance procedures for integrated systems: HVAC, Smoke and Fire Detection, Low Voltage Systems, Lift and Escalators, Voice and Emergency Evacuation.

Because the panel is used by firefighters with minimal prior knowledge of building-specific layout, its design is simple and intuitive. It contains all the required components that are needed to control a fire event, as well as graphical representations to help decision makers. It is a life safety solution that shares system resources and is therefore more efficient and cost effective than installing multiple interconnected systems.

According to the International Building Code requirements, when a FSCS is activated it gains priority over any other equipment, and controls the event without taking precedence over fire suppression, electrical protection and personnel protection devices. MA-FSCS complies to these requirements.

The MA-FSCS is custom-made by MTech for each client to meet the specific needs of a building, and is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 MTech Quality Standard in Four Enclosures compartment:

• Voice and Visualization Compartment
• UUKL Building Map Compartment
• UUKL Control and Monitoring Compartment

The system complies with NFPA requirements and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories under the UL864 10^th Edition and in the category UUKL for Smoke Management System.

MA-FSCS is also listed as a Firefighter’s Smoke Control Station in high-rise office buildings, malls and other large structures.

MA-FSCS is factory assembled, with switches and LED Indicators wired directly to their respective interface assemblies, eliminating the need for terminal strips and I/O modules and maximizing the number of points that can be included within the enclosure

Includes MA-1000 fire alarm control panel with loop and network card which is mounted inside the enclosure and controls switches and LED Indicators

Includes up to 150 monitoring zones

Monitors up to 400 addressable devises per panel

Utilizes digital output and input type points that interface with the graphic-mounted LED indicators and switches. Typical points include fan on-off control, damper open-close control, fan and damper status, and door release functions

Comes with a loop-check function which scans the system for faulty or turned off devices
